my bantam cochin hen is really a rooster. yikes. i don't know what i'm going to do with him -- don't want to disturb the neighbours, don't have room for more chicks, nor do i want any fertilized eggs that i crack open with half grown chicks in them. i can't separate the chickens because they are too attached to one another. can you neuter a rooster?

i got a new clematis and lobelia for my purple flower bed.

last year some hops appeared from nowhere on the railing of my stoop. now the seeds from them last year are sprouting everywhere and they grow really fast and attach themselves to anything in their path.

i want to transplant some herbs from my garden at the organic club at cook college. maybe tomorrow since i'll be up in brunswick for meditation.

Appearantly Congo had attacked the mother in law at the family's home. The family said she wasnt bitten, but the ER Doc said M-I-L had four bite wounds and was scratched up.



So the family decided to have the dogs put down.



Sad. If these dogs had been nuetered and still were still violent that is one thing. I am not sure if they were but if not the owners were SELFISH and allowed these dogs to be sacrificed for greed.



This makes me angry.

A cat died and went to Heaven. God met her at the gates and said, "You have been a good cat all these years. Anything you want is yours for the asking."

The cat thought for a minute and then said, "All my life I lived on a farm and slept on hard wooden floors. I would like a real fluffy pillow to sleep on."

God said, "Say no more." Instantly the cat had a huge fluffy pillow.

A few days later, six mice were killed in an accident and they all went to Heaven together. God met the mice at the gates with the same offer that SHe made to the cat.

The mice said, "Well, we have had to run all of our lives: from cats, dogs, and even people with brooms! If we could just have some little roller skates, we would not have to run again."

God answered, "It is done." All the mice had beautiful little roller skates.

About a week later, God decided to check on the cat. SHe found her sound asleep on her fluffy pillow. God gently awakened the cat and asked, "Is everything okay? How have you been doing? Are you happy?"

The cat replied, "Oh, it is WONDERFUL. I have never been so happy in my life. The pillow is so fluffy, and those little Meals on Wheels you have been sending over are delicious!"

I love waterways and have been researching and identifying some awesome places in Trenton, Ewing and Princeton that are mostly overlooked. I love Crosswicks Creek where it meets with the Delaware in Bordentown and I was down by the Delaware in Ewing the other day.
